Wildcard Heat Winner

Sky Landscape of the Year 2023, Royal Ascot Picnic Area

Can't quite believe it but still very proud to have been chosen as the Wildcard Heat Winner in #SLAOTY Series 8, Episode 5 - Royal Ascot Picnic Area.

All the action happened last Summer when I went along to Royal Ascot with all my paints and boards and spent the day as a Wildcard Artist filming the show, competing with 49 other plein air artists for one Wildcard place on the day.

Although that was to be the end of my wildcard adventure in the series I had such a great time and met some incredible people including the genuinely lovely and encouraging judges.

Check out my painting, which is currently available for sale here.

Read my interview with Cass Art about my experience, process and favourite art materials.

If you'd like to watch a rerun of the show you can search for this episode/series on your TV  for catch up or 'red button' it for the next showing.  The sky arts webpage also provides some dates and times when being rerun.

Sky Arts is now free to view on Freeview channel 11/others.

Warley Place

After a number of enquiries and fantastic feedback about my Warley Place Paintings displayed during the Brentwood art trail this summer - there is one of the series of original paintings available for sale in my store here.

'The Gorge', below, gives the view from the bridge at Warley Place.  The vista at the gorge, from Ellen Willmott's time (the historical horticulturist who owned Warley place) has been adapted over the years by the badgers and rabbits who have quite literally changed the landscape as they have made their home here.

Bob Cat Gallery Online

Did you know I'm part of the group of talented artists that exhibit with  Bob Cat Gallery Online?

Bob Cat's ethos is to offer a range of beautiful, affordable and original, small scale artworks for everyone to own and enjoy.

Check out my profile  at the gallery and work available for sale here!

Rugby Art

A while back I made some art for my local rugby club - Upminster Rugby Club with all proceeds from the work going towards a fundraising drive to improve our club facilities.  I'm a huge rugby fan and really loved making art about it.

Check out my page explaining a little bit more about this series of work.

Limited Edition Prints of the four artworks are available to order now.

Thinking about buying art...

I've created a quick guide to all the ways my work is available for sale in response to a few questions I've had over the past few months.

Hopefully it should summarise how it all works but of course if you have any questions please just get in touch.
